Juanita Marie (Clayton) Rhodes., 88, of Martinsburg, WV, formerly of Keyser, WV, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at her residence while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born on June 27, 1936 in Keyser, WV, she was a daughter of the late Calvin C. and Cora V. (See) Clayton. She also was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Rhodes on October 21, 2013.
Mrs. Rhodes was a 1955 graduate of Keyser High School and retired as a book-keeper for Marshall Oil Company in Keyser. She was a former member of the Keyser Church of the Brethren, the Ladies Auxiliary to Nancy Hanks Post # 3513, VFW, Keyser and the Potomac Valley Hospital Volunteer Association.
Surviving is her daughter, Sandra Kay Spiker and husband Russell of Martinsburg; a granddaughter, Jessica Ludwick and husband Jacob of Slanesville, WV and five great-grandchildren, Zane Pope and Isaiah, Eliza, Noic and Isla Ludwick.
Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 6-8 p.m.
Private entombment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum, Keyser, WV.
