Light Up a Life
Every December we line the walkways with luminaries, one for each person our community is remembering. Dedicate a light in memory or in honor of someone you love, and join us at dusk.

Three ceremonies, one community
Each ceremony begins at 5:15 pm. Come to whichever is closest to you. All three are free and open to everyone.

Choose your light
Every dedication lights a luminary at the ceremony and supports hospice care, grief support and caregiver programs across the Eastern Panhandle.
A Light
A white luminaria along the path. American flags are included to recognize veterans.
An Angel
A handcrafted, personalized angel and angel luminaria. The angel is mailed to you after the ceremony.
A Circle of Light
A personalized clear globe ornament with a candle. The luminary is mailed to you after the ceremony.
A special section for veterans
We set aside part of the path each year for veterans being recognized by their families. Let us know when you dedicate your light and we will place it there.
How it works
Choose and dedicate
Pick a light, an angel or a circle of light, and tell us who it is for. In memory or in honor, both are welcome.

If you chose a photo option, upload your photo here and we will add it to the luminary.
Join us at dusk
Come to the ceremony nearest you and see the path lit. Bring whoever you would like with you.
